BLS In-Person + Heartsaver First Aid Hybrid Program

This program allows students to earn two separate certifications through a flexible and structured format. The BLS Provider course is completed fully in person, while the Heartsaver First Aid course is offered in a hybrid format, allowing you to complete the online portion from the comfort of your home.

How the Process Works
Step 1 – Complete Heartsaver First Aid (Online Portion)
Students must complete the HeartCode Heartsaver First Aid online module and obtain the completion certificate.

Step 2 – Attend Your In-Person BLS Class
BLS training is conducted entirely in person and includes hands-on practice and skills evaluation.

Step 3 – Present Your First Aid Completion Certificate
On the day of your in-person BLS class, you must present your Heartsaver First Aid online completion certificate in order to complete the First Aid hands-on skills session.

Step 4 – Receive Your Certifications
Once both skill sessions are successfully completed, you will receive your certifications.

Important Information

BLS Provider and Heartsaver First Aid certifications are issued separately.
Students may receive both certifications on the same day they complete their in-person BLS class, provided they bring proof of completion for the online First Aid portion.

If you prefer to complete the certifications on different days, please contact your instructor to review scheduling availability.
