AHA Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED – In-Person
Gain the confidence and skills to respond effectively to pediatric medical emergencies with official American Heart Association (AHA) certified training.
The AHA Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is a hands-on, instructor-led classroom training designed to meet regulatory requirements for childcare providers, educators, foster parents, and staff. It is also ideal for parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone caring for children.
This course covers life-saving techniques tailored across all pediatric age groups:
• Infants: 0 to 12 months
• Children: 1 year old up to puberty
What You Will Learn:
• Pediatric CPR: High-quality CPR techniques for infants (0–12 months) and children (1 year to puberty).
• Pediatric AED Use: Safe operation of an Automated External Defibrillator on child and infant patients.
• Choking Relief: Immediate actions to relieve choking in conscious and unconscious infants and children.
• First Aid Skills:
- Bleeding control, wound care, and burn management.
- Handling fractures, sprains, and head injuries.
- Managing sudden medical emergencies (asthma, severe allergic reactions/anaphylaxis, EpiPen auto-injector use, seizures, high fever).
Course Details:
• Format: 100% In-Person Classroom Training (Video-Based & Instructor-Led with hands-on practice).
• Certification: Official AHA Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED 2-Year eCard issued upon successful completion.
• Requirements: No prior medical knowledge required. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for practicing skills on the floor.
