American Heart Association – BLS Instructor Course

Become an American Heart Association (AHA) certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor and gain the skills and credentials to teach life-saving techniques to healthcare providers and emergency responders. This instructor-level training prepares you to deliver high-quality CPR, AED, and respiratory emergency care for adults, children, and infants, in accordance with the latest AHA guidelines.

As a certified BLS Instructor, you will be authorized to teach official AHA BLS Provider courses, issue certification cards, and support the development of life-saving skills within your community or organization.

Course Includes:

Training conducted by an AHA-certified Instructor Trainer
Access to official instructor materials and digital resources
Hands-on practice with professional training equipment (manikins, AED trainers, etc.)
Guidance on course delivery, student evaluation, and classroom management
BLS Instructor Certification valid for two years

 

Requirements:

Current AHA BLS Provider certification
Completion of the AHA Instructor Essentials online course prior to in-person training
Commitment to maintaining AHA standards in instruction and professionalism


Upon successful completion, you will be fully equipped to begin teaching AHA BLS courses and making a meaningful impact by training others to respond confidently in life-threatening situations.

You are required to have the current Instructor Course for the course and the AHA Videos for the Discipline you intend to teach.
